Factori-Difference Labeling Of Some Square Graphs

Abstract

In this paper, we focus on the factori-difference labeling and apply to some square graphs. A connected graph G is a factori-difference labeling if there exists a bijection f∶V(G)→{2,3,… ,p} such that the induced function g_f ∶E(G)→N defined as g_f (uv)=([f(u)+f(v)-1]!)/([f(u)-1]![f(v)-1]!) and the edges labels are distinct. Graph which produces a factori-difference labeling has a factoridifference graph. Abstract

RANSE solvers are being increasingly applied to test solutions to ship hydrodynamic problems, and one such application is the modelling for the performance of the bilge keel, considering the viscous effects. This includes the drag on the hull form as it rolls and the flow separation from the bilge and keel where subsequent vortex formation accounts for a large amount of the roll damping. This paper presents a numerical modelling effort to estimate the oscillations of a ship subjected to beam waves. Using CFD tool, the model defines transient boundary conditions that simulate waves on the free surface. The wave model generates a number of field functions based on wave parameters and these field functions are used as initial and boundary conditions. Abstract

Two different configurations of annular combustor of a generic 1100 kW class aero-derivative gas turbine are subjected to steady state incompressible cold flow analysis. One model has combustion liner with plain holes and the other with plain holes in recirculation and primary zones and dilution tubes in dilution zone alone. The simplified computational domain is discretized with Polyhedral cells. The two equation k-Ɛ model is applied for simulating the turbulence with standard wall function. The Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations are solved over the discretized domain using pressure based Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equations(SIMPLE) and finite volume method. The calculated velocity fields at combustor exit, pressure contour and Streamlines on Meridional plane are presented..............

Abstract

Today Networks are found everywhere. In our day to day life we find ourselves almost always connected to internet. SDN is a new paradigm over traditional network systems to revolutionize the network and to overcome from its problem of vendor lock-ins. With the decoupling of 3 layers – Application Layer, Control Layer and Infrastructure Layer has ensured faster innovations and has broken vendor monopolies by supporting heterogeneity in the infrastructure. QoS parameters such as network reachability, bandwidth utilisation, packet loss and delays are the key solutions for measuring the performance of SDN. We take advantage of POX controller in SDN.

Abstract

In the most recent few years, in addition to analyzing the time series data, space domain analytics has gained equal importance. Geographical Information Systems play a dominant part in analyzing and visualizing spatial data. The purpose of this paper is to provide an introduction to geographic information systems and a research background for information systems researchers on water modeling. In particular, this paper summarizes in the domain of GIS based water modeling. In addition, the applicability of machine learning in GIS based water modeling is discussed. Various tools used for GIS and machine learning are also provided. This survey shows that the existing standards, tools, GIS technologies and machine learning methods have been used effectively in the hydrological domain.

Abstract

The purpose of our work is to bridge the gap between physical devices (such as vehicles, home appliances and other embedded devices) and the Internet. Recent advancement in Internet of Things (IoT) technology has given rise to the network of physical devices such as vehicles, home appliances, and other things embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators and network connectivity which enables this devices to connect and exchange data over the existing Internet infrastructure. Our work aims at providing cheap IoT solution that needs no hard work from the end-user as all the home appliances and sensors can be easily controlled by a ATmega2560 microcontroller. An ESP8266 based Wi-Fi module is connected to the ATmega2560 through I2C communication protocol so that data from the ATmega2560 can be transferred to and from the ESP8266.............

Abstract

In statistical analysis, the accuracy of approximation is a function of (1) data representation, (2) approximation technique and (3) the metric used for error measurement. For ordinary linear least square approximation (OLA), the existing formulation of error measurement is not satisfactory for many applications. Conventionally, ordinary linear least square approximation (OLA) technique has been considered as the best fit regression line for linear trend data. Based on domain knowledge, several versions of OLA have been developed such as polynomial regression for engineering, exponential regression for radioactive decays, bilinear regression for saturated growth, logistic regression for medical prognosis etc. They are all reformulations of OLA using prior domain knowledge, for supervised learning.............

An Improved Approach in Visual Cryptography Using Error Diffusion Technique

Abstract

Visual Cryptography (VC) is a special type of technique which allows visual information (pictures, text, etc.) to be encrypted in such a way that decryption becomes the job of the person to decrypt via sight reading. Visual cryptography can be used to protect biometric templates in which decryption does not require any complex computations. A secret image which is encoded into N shares printed on transparencies. The shares appears random and contain no decipherable information about the underlying secret image, however if any 2 of the shares are stacked on top of one another the secret image becomes decipherable by the human eye. This paper focuses on halftoning method named as error diffusion method used for the better generation of halftoned shares. In this paper, three existing error diffusion algorithms and proposed algorithm are compared on the basis of execution time of various parameters such as PSNR, WSNR, SNR and UQI and highlights how the proposed enhanced work increases the overall performance of visual cryptography.

Abstract

Cloud computing is a grid based application which facilitates "On demand network access to a shared pool of computing recourses". This environment strives to be secure, scalable and customized with guaranteed quality of service (QoS). However, QoS is guaranteed through fulfillment of non-functional requirements like Security, Scalability, Mobility and Virtualization in cloud computing System. Abstract

Autonomous search of odor sources is a problem that once solved can bring large improvements to tasks like humanitarian demining, airport patrolling, and hazardous chemical leaks detection. The main obstacles to the research in this area are the properties of current gas sensors (slow, weakly selective and poorly sensitive) and the difficulty to estimate the physical characteristics of natural odor plumes due to the "disturbances" caused by turbulence, namely meandering and intermittence. This present work describes on the design and development of a mobile robot equipped with semiconductor gas sensors which has been designed to locate the odor sources. A search algorithm is proposed to give movements to the robot in the direction of odor source.

Abstract

Cloud computing is a model ,which can enable network on global demand or the ability to access of network to a distributed pool of configurable resources such as applications, storage and services. These resources are available with minimal management efforts and also provisioned by the cloud service providers. SaaS is software model the users can access the applications that is owned, delivered and managed remotely by providers. Cost saving is the key benefit of using SaaS in the enterprises as to save the hardware, or physical storage. However, based on data sharing properties, these may be vulnerable to malicious attacks. Abstract

This paper is an attempt to analyze the perception on private minibus transport service quality provided in Asansol-Durgapur Development Authority (ADDA) area with an aim to search out the attributes explicitly act upon the service. These attributes effectively enhance the quality of service enjoyed by its users. The Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) upgraded by confidence interval has been used in this investigation as a methodology. In a time span of March to April 2018, perception of 180 passengers who use minibus transport service has been analysed in the study. Importance-Performance of 30 service quality attributes has been measured with the structured questionnaire schedule and analysed with the application of the SPSS software. The methodology is universally accepted one and has been used for measuring the importance of the service sectors of various cities.

Abstract

Today in the commercial world, the most important test to estimate the project cost to avoid any lose in the project and also submit the project on time .The software project cost which is based on functional point is the best practice and approach. But this is not possible for all software projects to apply this type of method to find out exact cost with in time and without delay. So the purpose of this research paper is to compute the experimental evaluation of layers based software cost and centre on type of the domain of the software projects. COCOMO and other model are based on two layer architecture of software cost estimation and that is not feasible to work out the cost or agenda the project development based on software development life cycle is not practicable and the data calm from top MNCs and education systems during my research paper are having a huge margin of real cost and the cost intended from COCOMO and Function Point models. In my research paper I have tried to present that the function point based estimation with exists deviation among actual as well as estimated effort.............

Abstract

The extent of present exploration is studying and assessing the outcome of replacing of cement with a variety of proportions of each of Metakaolin, Flyash, Silicafume (0%, 5 %, 10 %) for aggregate binder ratio 2.250 along with normal water-binder ratio of 0.30, 0.35, and 0.4 within distinctive proportions of steel fibers (0%, 0.5 %, & 0.75 % ) along with consistent percent of polypropylene fibres of 0.25 % to generate High performance Concrete. Cubes are treated at seven as well as twentyeight days and then evaluated for compressive strength.

Abstract

Beauty conscious individuals go for diet control or medicines to take care of their beauty. They may switch from medication to diet control or from diet control to medication. These individuals may exit at any stage; like stop the treatment voluntarily or may exit due to cardiac arrest. Malnutrition due to diet control and side effects of medication leads to cardiac arrest. In this paper, we have designed the system of non-linear differential equations to study the phenomenon of cardiac arrest among beauty conscious individuals. The basic reproduction number and the stability are derived to check the endurance of the model. The numerical simulation is also done using validated data. It is observed that after adopting any of the route, beauty conscious individuals will suffer from cardic arrest in 24- years.

Abstract

A set M of vertices of a connected graph G is a monophonic set if every vertex of G lies on an x-y monophonic path for some elements x and y in M. The minimum cardinality of a monophonic set of G is the monophonic number of G,and is denoted by m(G). A monophonic set of cardinality m(G) is called a m-set of G. Any monophonic set of order m(G)is a minimum monophonic set of G. An edge monophonic set M in a connected graph G is called a minimal edge monophonic set if no proper subset of M is a edge monophonic set of G. Effect of Depth of Reinforcement on Bearing Capacity of Coir Mat Reinforced Sand

Abstract

Very few literatures are available to assess performance of mat type of reinforcement which is extensively used as reinforcement in the soils. In the present study, load-settlement tests using model footing of 50mm diameter resting on coir mat of different opening size were conducted. The performance of reinforcement for various depths were analyzed by determining peak stress at failure and corresponding peak strain. The variation of BCR indicated that the depth of reinforcement has significant effect on bearing capacity of coir mat.

Dam is a barrier across the flowing river. This activity was first introduced at the beginning phase of human civilization and starts to harness the nature. Though dam has several beneficial aspects but could not avoid its negative impact. The Maithon dam has installed in 1957 across the river Barakar as a multipurpose river project under the authority of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) with the aim of flood control, irrigation, fishing, domestic water supply etc. but still now it cannot manages its several negative impact such as soil erosion, ecological disturbances, forest loss, loss of flora and fauna, inundation of agricultural land settlement, population displacement, health hazard, human stress and strain etc.........

Abstract

Door and stairs are significant landmarks for indoor navigation. One of the existing methods to perform indoor navigation is using a topological map in combination with a device that can help visually impaired person commute. Computer vision based navigation aid can improve the mobility of visually impaired person in known or unknown, indoor or outdoor situations. In this work, we propose a computer vision based method to detect doors and stairs for indoor navigation. The images provided my stereo cameras are used to extract information about the segments that belong to the stairs and doors. Several concepts are defined as size, the distance between the segments and many more that can help distinguish doors and stairs from similar structures found in indoor environments. The proposed work has proved to successfully detect doors and stairs under strong perspective deformation. Furthermore according to our experiments this method is suitable for real-time stairs and door detection.

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a data security protection mechanism with revocability for cloud storage system. An encrypted message is send from the sender to receiver through a cloud storage server. The sender only knows the identity of the receiver. The receiver's certificate or its public key is not known to the sender and also the receiver has two things in order to decrypt the ciphertext. The secret key is stored in the computer and the unique personal security device which connects to the computer. It is impossible to decrypt the cipher text without both the key. Once the Security device is lost, the device is revoked. Since revoking has been done the ciphertext cannot be decrypted. This can be achieved by some algorithms to change the existing ciphertext to be undecrypt able by this device.

Studies on Mechanical Behavior of 9 wt.% of 90 Micron Size B4C Particulates Reinforced LM29 Alloy Composites

Abstract

In the present examination the LM29 alloy composites containing 9 wt. % of B4C (90 micron) particulates were made for the examination. The microstructure of the composite was dissected by checking electron microscopy; micrographs were taken to perceive the proximity of B4C particulates in the aluminum grid. Further, mechanical conduct of as cast LM29 combination and LM29 composite 9 wt. % of B4C composites were inspected. Mechanical properties like hardness, UTS, yield quality, ductility and compression quality were evaluated by ASTM benchmarks. Microstructural investigation uncovered the uniform scattering of particles in the LM29 composite system. From the examination, it was found that hardness, extreme, yield and compression quality estimations of composite was extended because of essence of B4C particles in the composite. Further, from the examination ductility of the composite decreases with the extension of B4C particulates.

Abstract

This paper introduces about a new framework aim to make an Extreme programming (XP) as a design centric along with code centric. This framework uses an Architecture refinement approach which uses a simple abstract design of XP is converted into more elaborated concrete components and provides details of each component such as classes with attributes, properties, operations and associations and this retains all essential properties of its abstract design, By using this proposed refinement approach, the design becomes simple and it closer to the implementation , reduce the "refactoring" principle of XP and improves the total execution time and code quality.
