KEBCA – A Keyword Extraction Based Clustering Algorithm

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a document clustering method that tends to arrive at clusters of text documents which are assumed to be related together in their keywords. The method first uncovers the keywords of significance from a text document by means of the Keygraph method. The revealed keywords from the documents are represented in a graph, with the keywords as nodes, and the semantically related keywords are linked through edges. Then, they are clustered based on how strongly the keywords in two graphs (documents) are connected, more strongly they are connected, more is the probability that they can be belonging to the same cluster.

Abstract

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) provide open access to a wide variety of learning resources in many different knowledge areas, so that finally anyone in the world can join these courses and learn, no matter what the level of education. MOOCs have both great defenders and detractors. As an emerging trend, MOOCs have a great impact in technological and pedagogical areas, but they should demonstrate their real value in specific implementation and within institutional strategies. But MOOCs have different issues such as high dropout rates and low number of cooperative activities among participants. This paper presents a partial adaptive proposal to be applied in MOOC definition and development that may be useful to tackle the mentioned MOOC problems.

Abstract

To increase awareness, air flow gentle evaluation is essential regarding photograph errors removal. As air flow gentle can be quite dazzling, this conventional methods immediately select dazzling p regarding air flow gentle estimation.In this paper improved/hybrid fuzzy filters based haze removal algorithm is proposed. The dark channel prior can automatically extract the global atmospheric light and roughly eliminate the atmospheric veil. To make dark channel prior more effective, the atmospheric veil has been refined by using hybrid fuzzy filters as well as it able to produce a haze free image in more optimistic manner. The use of improved/hybrid fuzzy filters has improved the coarse estimated atmospheric veil by reducing halo artifacts.

Abstract

This paper presents an Application-dependent testing of a SRAM-based FPGA interconnects. Here is a method that associates a turn on inputs to numerous nets, which gives rise to test vectors to determine stuck-at, open, and bridging faults. This set up gives us privilege in reducing unnecessary composition that reduces the testing time for application-dependent testing for coverage of faults. As the basic result is in need of a growing complication, polynomial algorithm which is heuristic and acquisitive in nature (based on sorting) and it is used for selecting the nets to be used in the process of generating configurations.

Abstract

A New Asymmetrical Source Multi Level Inverter (NAS-MLI) captivates the need of high power and high voltage outputs. The proposed inverter to reduce Electro Magnetic Interference(EMI), harmonic distortion and high DC link voltage perk up the Multi Level inverters important than the decorous two level inverters. In this paper the comparative analysis of the MLI can be described with different type of controllers and the performance of the inverter has been presented. This topology postulates N number of sources, N*2+4 number of switches in order to produce 4N-1 different levels of outputs. The proposed controller has been developed and simulated using MATLAB/Simulink. The FFT analysis has been obtained to validate the role of the controller.

Public money is public income that the state collects on the basis of ownership and financial sovereignty in the form of taxes, contributions, duties and/or fees. An extremely important segment of public procurement in the Republic of Croatia, the youngest EU member, is the implementation of simple procurement procedures which on an annual basis amount to approximately 23% of the total value of public procurement. An accumulated rainfall map presents the amount and distribution of rainfall in terms of time periods and areas. The map is useful in the process of quantitative analysis to monitor a water situation in Thailand as well as to suggest risks of flood in the future. The rainfall data sets are collected through Telemetering system installed cover all Thailand. The received data from the Telemetering system will be processed along with other spatial based values and then displayed through images on the rainfall accumulation map. Abstract

Due to advancement in CMOS technology and shrinking of feature size to nano scale, systems are turning out to be more susceptible to manufacturing defects and soft errors. This paper is focused on designing combinational circuits for soft error tolerance with minimal area overhead, which is necessary to overcome error probability. The idea is based on analysing random pattern testability of faults in a circuit and protecting sensitive transistors, whose soft error detection probability is relatively high, until desired circuit reliability is achieved or a given area overhead constraint is met. Abstract

Runoff is one of the most important hydrological factors used in most of the land and water resources applications. It is an essential parameter at micro level to address soil and water conservation practices in a watershed. Curve Number (CN) method is mainly used for estimating infiltration characteristics of the watershed, based on the land use property and soil property. The Curve Number (CN) is a land-cover index for the given land use-land cover class, elevation and soil type to determine the amount of rainfall that infiltrates into the ground and the amount that becomes runoff for a specific storm event (USDA, 1986). Abstract

Image segmentation denotes a process of partitioning an image into distinct regions. Clustering methods have been extensively investigated and used among a large variety of segmentation approaches. MATLAB is widely used software for the study of brain tumor detection from MRI scan images. The process includes image pre-processing, image segmentation, feature extraction and classification technique. This present work proposes a method to detect the tumor regions effectively from the brain MRI scan images. In this paper, Graph Cut Method algorithm to Detect Tumour regions is proposed for medical image segmentation. Abstract

This paper presents a basis for calculating economics for public finance purposes. In it, benefit platform is defined and recommended as cost value of the facility utility part of a public project. Typical methods currently used by donor organizations for benefit-cost evaluation are based on cost recovery market (such as traffic estimates for highway projects) and not directly on public receipts. However, the actual cost of setting up the facility cover indirect costs including construction, management, and administration. This paper seeks to bring government program decision basis to payment series mathematics (perceptional payment relay calculation) and separate governance for public projects financing from complementary management competence for the existence of the facility required. Relevant basics of decision theory is included in the background towards the case logic, details of the mathematics is presented in the appendices.............

Abstract

This paper deals with the cost function analysis in Transient state of Two-Phase M/M/1 Queueing system with N-Policy, Server Breakdowns and Repairs. Customers arrive in the system in Poisson fashion and served in exponential service time distribution. They receive the first phase service as a batch followed by second essential phase of individual service. Lack of service occurs when the server is on vacation, busy during the service mode or due to the sudden breakdowns of the server. MATLAB is used to obtain transient solution for the system size probabilities. Further, Expected length of the system, waiting time in the system and cost of the model are analyzed. Finally Numerical illustrations are provided to see the effect of parameters on system performance measures.
